The Community Research Initiative on AIDS is an independent, non-profit community-based
AIDS research center which studies new treatments for HIV-related diseases. CRIA
also provides treatment education services including monthly community forums, group
workshops, a treatment newsletter, and individual treatment education services.

The HIV Variant Project of the African Services Committee keeps physicians and

Project Achieve conducts prevention research trials
among communities with high risk of HIV infection, including men who have sex with men and
heterosexual women. Trials include behavioral intervention trials, vaccine efficacy
trials, and vaccine preparedness studies.
