Bronx AIDS Services provides extensive outreach, education, and prevention services
with programs especially directed toward people at high risk of HIV transmission.
The organization also provides case management for Bronx residents living with AIDS
and at high risk of HIV infection, nutrition education and counseling services, and a
broad range of legal advocacy services. Support groups and domestic violence
services are also available.

The Community Research Initiative on AIDS is an independent, non-profit community-based
AIDS research center which studies new treatments for HIV-related diseases. CRIA

M.E.N.T.O.R.S. offers HIV/STD prevention outreach, comprehensive case management to
HIV positive clients, community-level interventions, and development of peer leadership to
Middle Eastern immigrants. HIV services focus on HIV prevention/risk reduction and
access to HIV counseling, testing and treatment. The staff at M.E.N.T.O.R.S. are

The River Fund Provides food services to the hungry, homeless, and HIV/AIDS populations
throughout the New York City Area via their Movable Feast program, which prepares meals
and delivers them to soup kitchens in need of food. They also provide a food program
the delivers bagged lunches to Rufus King Park, Jamaica, as well as providing food to
other organizations that are in need of food. Visitation and recreation programs for
HIV/AIDS residents of area health care facilities supplying them with food, gifts and
emotional support throughout the year and on each major holiday.

The mission of the HIV/AIDS Technical Assistance (T.A.) Project is to stop the
spread of HIV/AIDS among New York City's adolescents and young adults. The T.A.
Project works with young people, community-based organizations, and the New York City
Department of Education to train and empower students, teachers, and parents through
effective youth-focused HIV/AIDS prevention strategies.
