Scenarios USA gives teens the reins to create their own media on issues that shape
their lives, such as HIV/AIDS, relationships, sexual identity, dating, and teen pregnancy.
Teens, ages 12-22, address issues by writing stories for the annual Scenarios "What's
the Real Deal?" contest. The winners, chosen through a juried process, are partnered
with renowned filmmakers to make their stories into short films for national distribution.
The high-quality shorts are mainly used in classrooms, community groups, and teen programs
to get teens to think about their lives and discuss the choices they make.
